Meet the Schlubs/Hosts

Billy Ray Brewton

Born and raised in the Deep South, Billy Ray has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, but has spent most of his career in the entertainment field. He hosts “The Incinerator” podcast, serves as Managing Director for Seattle’s Three Dollar Bill Cinema, and as Creative Director for Make Believe Seattle. Additionally, he is a member of the ArtsFund advisory board, a former officer in Civitan International, and is a vocal and rather annoying champion for First Amendment rights. You might have also heard his voice on the “Screen Drafts” podcast. He gets around.

Erik Surwill

Erik is an IT professional who began providing IT support and service to clients over 20 years ago as a consultant. His experience includes implementing, maintaining, and managing a broad spectrum of IT services including Networking, Security, and Voice technologies, Microsoft Windows and Exchange administration, IT auditing and process development, and managing IT support and helpdesk systems. He is currently the Director of Information and Communications Technology at VIP Community Mental Health Center, the mental health component of the Violence Intervention Program at LAC+USC Medical Center, in Los Angeles.
